Patina Patina PatinaMiller was the lead actor in Stephen Schwartz's celebrated 1972 musical "Pippin" at Broadway. Diane Paulus won the Tony Award at the 67th annual Tony Awards for Best Revival of a Musical. "Pippin" is a musical that starred Matthew James Thomas with Andrea Martin, Terrence Man, Matthew James Thomas as well director Diane Paulus. Patina created her own modern twist on Ben Vereen's role and was able to master the Fosse moves that are so vital to the production. Patina has been nominated for a Tony Award, an Outer Critics Circle Award and also a Broadway.com Audience Choice Award. She also won an Drama League Award as Best actress for an Leading Role and also an Outer Critics Circle Award as Outstanding Actress for a musical. In December 2012 through the beginning of January 2013 she performed as the lead role in American Repertory Theater's production of Pippin. Miller made her Broadway debut in the 2011 Broadway season as the gutsy nightclub-singer-turned-nun "Deloris Van Cartier" in the stage adaptation of "Sister Act", which earned her first Tony nomination, as well as Drama Desk, Drama League, and Outer Critics Circle Award nominations for her performance.
