Sadie Amara Calvano, an American actress who is best known for playing Violet Plunkett on the CBS sitcom "Mom", has gained a lot of fame. A California native, Calvano was initially interested in competitive gymnastics. In the end, however, Calvano determined to pursue a career in acting. Her first screen appearance was in 2010 in one of the episodes from CBS program 'NCIS'. Her big screen debut came a year after on the Biographical Drama film "J Edgar". In subsequent seasons, she was able to establish herself as one of the most prestigious actors of today's young. The year she was born, she won a nomination in the Young Artist Award, Best Performance of a Young Actress on a TV Series for her role in the show "NCIS". The year 2013 saw Calvano nominated once again for an award called a Young Artist Award. This was for her performance on Disney XD's 'Kickin' It'. Calvano appeared in a number of episodes of "Mom" in its fourth season. She was the primary role in the initial three seasons of the series. Her outing in 'Mom' was recognized with the Gracie Allen Award for Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star in 2015.
